After Corona ..... (English article)

After Corona .....

Today, Corona's grip is not only on India, but on almost every country in the world.  Some countries and their administrations have taken precautions to address it in a timely manner e.g.  India. So some countries did not take the corona so seriously e.g. In Italy and Spain, as well as in the United States, where around 23,000 citizens a day are affected by corona, the administration is still unable to decide on a lockdown.

The United Nations recently stated in a statement how far-reaching the Corona crisis would be;  Never before since World War II has such a dire situation been seen in the world. It is no exaggeration to say that it is not just a matter of which first, second or third nations will have to face it now, but that it will be a financial blow to all.

Tomorrow, when we all come out of this corona, we will see the state of the economy in the same way as when a flood recedes, all chaotic or permanently extinct.  All sectors will now have to start a new. Unorganized sector industries in particular will have to look for their industry, the capital of the industry, its place and its rightful workers.

The government announced a lockdown, which was followed by the owners by closing down their factories.  Put some money in the hands of the laborers working there, took away their living quarters. What option did those workers have at that time?  One only , It means going back to theirr hometown. But they could not even return to their hometowns as the government imposed curfews everywhere.  Then, as soon as they could, they went to the village with their family and of course they walked ..... floor by floor, hiding with the police administration, starving and sometimes barefoot ....

Now that all the situation is under control, the question is whether the entrepreneurs in the unorganized sector will get their real workers back.  What is the second precautionary measure if the behavior of the owners in times of difficulty and if such an accident may recur? So there is a strong possibility that these non-native, non-local, especially out state workers will come back to their place of employment and start a new or stay in their hometown or state where they start a small or big business there ..?  The second possibility is more than the first possibility. Because there is nothing more valuable than life. This will have a huge impact on the local economy, especially the national capital Delhi and the financial capital Mumbai. Some leaders are now appealing for the jobs of expatriates to be taken over by the local Bhumiputras, but the question is not whether the local youth will come forward to do such business ..?  If you think of the whole of India today, or just think of your Pune-Mumbai, you will understand how many local young Panipuri, Bhelpuri, ice cream, cleaning, peddlers selling goods on handcarts, running a leaf tobacco tapri, working in a tea shop. There are tea vendors and taxi drivers in the financial capital? So the answer is very little. Because all these businesses are owned by North Indian workers. And their special umbilical cord appears to be aligned with these occupations.  Of course, the effect will not be limited to Delhi or Mumbai, but will be a real test for the politicians of the workers' home state, because if the working class does not return to its original place of work, it will have to provide its livelihood to the local government. Can such a facility be made on such a large scale? The biggest question will be food, when the country has just emerged from the corona. Crops have been severely damaged due to untimely availability of laborers for farming during the lockdown.

Health is also going to be a very important issue after employment as people now understand the importance of hygiene.  A large chunk of the state budget has been spent on health services in the past, and similar provisions will have to be made in the future.

The government needs to provide simple and low interest capital specially for businesses, with short term return policies .  Because only the government is taking a step forward for our industry will create a big belief in the minds of entrepreneurs.  If the expatriate workers are expected to return and work in their industries, then the original entrepreneur should take care of their safe future as the employer's relationship with the workers is not only expected to be for work but it is the moral duty of the employer to take care of their provision.

One more thing we need to note today is that we do not have enough manpower to overcome this global epidemic crisis.  On the one hand, there are educated young men suffering from unemployment. The government should immediately issue recruitment drive by giving urgent orders, giving priority to local Bhumiputras, so that if such a situation arises again in the future, the damage caused by it should not be too much.

Opposition at the state level and at the Center need to understand that the Corona disaster is not an opportunity but a lesson. We need to help each other through our actions because if we do not show unity then the situation will be the same again.  Central government must allow all state governments to make decisions and also offer time to time grants and subsidies to fight such disasters. Such an easy central-state environment is essential for a conducive democratic environment.

We also have certain duties as responsible citizens in an ideal democratic state.  We must pay our taxable income on time. Manufacturers as well as sellers of essential commodities should not blackmail by stockpiling goods.  Strict action should be taken against some unruly people who were taking to the streets and giving their live updates to others despite the 100% lockdown situation in the entire country.

Finally, after a long period of corona epidemic, we were able to communicate with our family and relatives, give a lot of time and also realize that ‘who comes to work in difficult times’, so we should take care to stay united from now on ..!
